As you may have heard, unfortunately, I was out sick yesterday (I did NOT, however, fall down a flight of stairs and break my leg as rumor had it!), so some of the classes found themselves at different points in the lesson. Today was something of a "catch-up day," but there was some homework:

NOTE: Students should use the Literature Circle Prep (Literature Journal) completed in class today on "The Orphan Boy and the Elk Dog" to answer the questions.

Yellow Class

Blue Class

1. Complete Proofreading Practice Quiz
2. Draft a "Why?" story using "The Owl Never Sleeps at Night" as a model. (If you didn't already hand it in today!)
