"A" is for Acrostic and "T" is for Thanks!

"A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues."~Cicero
With Thanksgiving Day nearly upon us, students this week took some time to reflect upon those things that they are most grateful for. The final product which was used to capture these thoughts was a familiar one, an acrostic poem. Acrostic poems are simple poems in which each the first letter of each line forms a word or phrase (vertically). Just as Billy (the main character from Where the Red Fern Grows) is extremely grateful for his family and his hounds, many of our students expressed similar thoughts.

Why not take a few minutes to scroll down and check out some of our student's efforts?
