Homework for May 9

Over the past two class periods, students have been taking the Gates-McGinnitie Reading Tests in the interest of collecting more information as decision are being made in the high school relative to student placement for next year. As a result, our reading of The Red Pony had been momentarily set aside.

Beginning next week though, we will definitely be back on track!

Green Class

1. None!
Red Class
1. All work related to the first chapter of John Steinbeck's The Red Pony should be completed:

a) for pages 3-14, the "Characters" Graphic Organizer.

b) for pages 14-24, the "Training Gabilan" Paragraph using the following terms: bridle
colt, halter, saddle, stall, break

c) for pages 24-35, the "The Gift" LCP (page 2 of pdf link)Summary and questions on loose-leaf.

Are you gonna turn into a cowboy and leave us?
Because no offense, it seems that you really like country books.
Since we've read like 3 this year and well... I hate country life.
Ps- Disney world has been fun and im glad to be back!!!
But not to read this so called RED HORSE THINGG UGHHHHH
