Extra Credit 6: Great Sentences...

Here is an extra credit opportunity that is slightly more extensive (translation: it will take a little longer to complete). Take your time and read both the directions and the prompts carefully.

1. Click on the "Extra 6: Great Sentences" link to the right or here. This link will take you to the first of seven online activities all of which deal with writing great sentences. Please complete all seven activities.

2. Start with Activity 1: Putting Sentences in Correct Order by putting the sentences in the correct order.

3. Press "Submit" to see how you did.

4. Following the prompts, work through the remaining six activities, all of which deal with sentence writing. You will need to use your knowledge of proofreading, grammar and writing skills.

Activity 2: Word Forms
Activity 3: Articles
Activity 4: Verb Tense
Activity 5: Adjective Clauses with "Who"/"That"/"Which"
Activity 6: Topic Sentences and Supporting Sentences
Activity 7: Sentences That Express Opinion
5. Write a brief paragraph, taking into consideration the skills you have covered in the tutorial, in which you describe the sills covered to receive Extra Credit.
