Fifteen Week Kudos!

ku·dos[koo-dohz] (noun) honor; glory; acclaim; a statement of praise or approval; accolade; compliment: She received kudos from everyone on her performance.
Though we are a couple of weeks past the fifteen week point (or the fifth week of the Second Quarter) it is once again time to acknowledge some students who have been doing an exemplary job thus far in Language Arts class.

Students are once again being recognized for their effort in Language Arts class with a certificate on our "Power-Think-Learn" bulletin board, as well as, being recognized during class. Students have the opportunity to be recognized in one of two areas: those who are currently excelling in our class by having earned an A+ in class (Academic Excellence), and students who have shown an improvement in their overall grade since the last five week reporting point (Academic Improvement).
