Winter Recess Fun Uno!

Calling all House 1 Eight Graders (Green, Red, Yellow, and Blue students):

Sixteen days--think about it a tiny bit--that's a l-o-o-o-o-ong time to be away from your friends and teachers. Though you (and your teachers, too) will be relaxing and enjoying a break, it is REALLY important that you spend some time exercising your brain and practicing those skills that will allow you to be successful in all of your classes.

No, not Halo 3.6 or Guitar Hero 7 or whatever... I'm talking about that other awesome activity... READING!

In order for me to be able to check that you've done some reading, I am asking (okay, assigning) you to maintain your Reading Journal during the break. The expectation is that you complete eight journal entries, using the prompts, during the sixteen day break.
