Extra Credit 3: Sentence Completion

Think of it as context clues, just in reverse! Follow the easy steps below to 1) practice for the New York State Assessment and 2) earn some Extra Credit for Language Arts class!

1. Look to the right of this post to the section entitled "ELA 8 Assessment Prep." (HINT: It's directly below the giant Extra Credit" pic.)

2. Click on the "Sentence Completion" link there or here.

3. Select a Level of Difficulty, either "Easy," "Medium" or "Hard." I would suggest starting with easy--most of these are HARD! If you have fun or desire the challenge... move on to the other levels.

4. Complete the 15 fill-in-the-blanks (Mad-Libs style!) questions. You can "Ask for a Hint" if you need some help. If you're incorrect, it's alright, the site will immediately give you some help--please read the suggestions and hints!

5. There is nothing for you to print out to prove that you did it... but, I trust that if you say "I did it!" you did. (Just this one time!)
